Tashan Hotel Edirne, Edirne

The hotel had a unique and cozy atmosphere with high vaulted ceilings and a very low door, but the rooms had a problem with toilets causing a bad smell. The staff, especially Ayshe and Ozhan, were quick to react and very helpful with reservations, yet the service might require translation at times. The location was perfect next to Üç şerefeli camii (Three Minarets Mosque) and had a great historical atmosphere, but the surroundings might affect the air conditioning. The dining experience offered authentic Turkish cuisine, but the availability of food was limited at times. The facilities were decent, providing basic amenities.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and not-so-great experiences. The rooms were clean and cozy but had a strong unpleasant smell due to toilet issues above the entrance. The service was exceptional, with quick reactions and helpful assistance for all our needs, though some language barrier issues were resolved with Google Translate. The location was excellent, close to historic sites and landmarks, but the external courtyard next to the hotel was not well-maintained. The dining experience was delicious, particularly during breakfast, offering a perfect variety of typical Turkish cuisine. Despite the facilities being good, the toilet problem affected the overall comfort of our stay.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, although the air conditioning was a bit tricky to manage when lounging on the double bed. The service was outstanding, with the staff being incredibly kind and helpful, especially with the kids. The location was superb, nestled in an historical building right by the famous Üç şerefeli camii and within walking distance of all the major sites. The dining options, although not perfect, served delicious Turkish cuisine with a great variety. Overall, a fantastic experience with a few minor hiccups.

They were clean and conveniently located near all the mosques on the World Heritage list. However, the Main Street facing rooms could be quite noisy at night due to passing vehicles with loud music or engines.
